Cassis is a commune of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the South of France on the Mediterranean coast between the port of Marseille and the city of La Ciotat. It is protected by the Cap Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe, and the famous white limestone creeks. Cassis will seduce you by its landscapes, its climate, its picturesque port but also by its wines produced in the region. Inhabited since Roman times, Cassis is today a lively village rich in history and exceptional panoramas.

The charming village of Cassis

Located only 15 kilometers from Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côtes-d’Azur region, Cassis is a town that takes place on the Mediterranean coast and enjoys a mild and sunny climate that gives an air of vacation all year round to its inhabitants and visitors.
Let your guide take you through its picturesque and colorful streets to discover its exceptional natural heritage but also its typical monuments of the South of France.

The small port of Cassis benefits from an extraordinary environment between the largest cliff in Europe, the Cap Canaille, and the famous creeks which offer a spectacular panorama.

Food lovers will be seduced by the local specialties and more particularly by the famous Cassis wines which benefit from an AOC declined in white and rosé.

For the more athletic, the creeks offer more than 160 kilometers of marked trails on the Route des Crêtes to hike while admiring the incredible landscapes around.
