The Gorges du Verdon by foot, bike or canoe
In the heart of the regional natural park of the same name, the Gorges du Verdon are located in the South of France, straddling the departments of Var and Alpes de Haute Provence. Immense and sumptuous, this canyon is the largest in Europe. Its incredible scenery is the result of the fantastic work of erosion of the water on the limestone plateaus of Provence. The height of its cliffs varies between 250 and 700 meters and the depth of the gorges can also reach 700 meters. Its total length is 175 kilometers.
