It is located in the heart of the Alpilles on a rocky massif of 275 meters of altitude and offers a breathtaking panorama on the exceptional landscapes of the Camargue, Arles and the Alpilles.

A walk through the old village of Baux-de-Provence with all its monuments

Located in the Alpilles mountains, Les Baux-de-Provence is a commune in the South-East of France located in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the PACA region. Perched on a rocky spur of more than 200 meters, the citadel of Les Baux offers a breathtaking view over the southern plains towards Arles and the Camargue.

22 monuments of the commune such as the House of the King, the Church of Saint Vincent, the Chapel of the Penitents or the castle are classified as historical heritage and testify to a prestigious and eventful past. Spread over nearly 7 hectares, the village and its fortress open your eyes to unique and exceptional scenery.

Walk through the old village with your guide through its picturesque streets and discover many architectural masterpieces that are available to you. You will also find on your way art galleries retracing the history of this atypical village but also museums and craft stores.
