Nice, a city of art and culture

Capital of the Cote d’Azur and sub-prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes, Nice, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, is located about thirty kilometers from the Italian border. Rich of its historical and cultural heritage, the city invites you to the heart of the old Nice, passing by its famous Promenade des Anglais on the seafront or by its picturesque and colorful streets in order to discover all the beauty of its monuments such as the baroque Gesù church, the Lascaris palace or the Sainte-Réparate cathedral.

Nice is also a city of art and culture, it is the second city with the most museums in France after Paris. You will be able to appreciate the guided visit of many museums like the one of Matisse, Marc Chagall or the museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Nature lovers will not be outdone because thanks to its exceptional climate and its Mediterranean fauna, you will be able to walk along the footpaths that start from the city center and go up to the hills that dominate it in order to discover the city from a different angle and admire the landscapes that the region has to offer.
